Ever since a helicopter carrying nearly a dozen Navy SEALs crashed in 2011, killing everyone on board, Dr. Savage has pushed for an investigation into this suspicious incident.
This week, he announced that Congress is finally preparing to look into the crash. Savage reaffirmed his belief that, “some of our greatest heroes were sent to their death either through incompetence or through a conspiracy within our own government to kill them” (FREE audio).
Regarding the latest revelations regarding New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner, Savage declared that the disgraced Democrat was obviously mentally ill (FREE audio).
However, he also pointed to a much bigger problem: “Why is New York City unable to produce a mayor of quality? Why do people of quality refuse to enter politics?”
“There is something pathologically wrong here,” Rush Limbaugh declared as he listened to clips from Obama’s Illinois speech about the state of the economy (FREE audio).
“He’s out there in Illinois claiming Washington hasn’t been paying enough attention to the economy,” Limbaugh pointed out, even though the president is himself part of “Washington.”
Limbaugh suggested Obama refers to the nation’s capital “as though he has had nothing to do with it.”
Limbaugh has devoted plenty of time this week on the latest Anthony Weiner “sexting” revelations, focusing especially on Weiner’s Muslim wife Huma Abedin, who is also one of Hillary Clinton’s closest confidants (FREE audio).
So far, it looks like Huma is staying with her troubled husband, and Rush isn’t impressed.
“Democrat women” like her, he declared, “are doing more to set women … back to the Dark Ages.”
Comedian Jackie Mason talking about race relations and the Zimmerman trial? Only Aaron Klein brings listeners Mason’s one-of-a-kind perspective! (FREE audio)
On a serious note, Klein reveals the true identities of the Trayvon Martin protest leaders, showing that they are definitely not “grassroots” activists but veteran provocateurs.
As well, author Jerome Corsi joined Aaron to talk about his new book, “What Went Wrong: The Inside Story of the GOP Debacle of 2012 and How It Can Be Avoided Next Time.”
Klein also reported on the so-called “peace” talks between Israel and Palestine and surveyed the rest of the current Middle Eastern scene.
“Obama’s economic growth record is the worst in 60 years,” Levin announced, in response to the president’s speech about the economy (FREE audio).
“Obama’s debt creation record is the greatest in American history,” added Levin, listing just a few of Obama’s domestic failures. “The Food Stamp program, which is supposed to make sure that people don’t go hungry, has 50 million Americans, as well as foreigners, on its rolls.”
Levin also slammed Republican John Boehner, who he says is covering up the details of the Benghazi terror attack: “John Boehner does not want to know what took place in Benghazi on that horrific day. And I’m honestly starting to think that he’s cut some kind of deal with Obama, because why else would he do this? Obama has never answered for approximately eight and a half hours of inaction. And I contend that he went to sleep. He’s never answered for this” (FREE audio).
It was a timely and provocative conversation: Dr. Shelby Steele of the Hoover Institution came on to comment on Obama’s reaction to the Zimmerman “not guilty” verdict.
Steele, an African-American, told Laura, “I grew up during segregation, and what astounds me is the incredible amount of progress we have made.”
However, he added, the president seems determined to use his unique bully pulpit to rehash old grievances.
“Obama was showered with opportunity,” Steel pointed out. “He walked right into the White House. My God, what is he complaining about?” (FREE audio)
Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah gave Ingraham and her audience the inside scoop about the latest meeting of the Congressional “tea party” working group. The conversation focused on Obamacare rather than immigration. Lee believes he can convince John McCain to join him in fighting against the new health-care reforms, but Laura wasn’t so sure (FREE audio).
Beck finds it odd that Barack Obama apparently needs a teleprompter to speak about every topic – except the subject of race. Then, Beck pointed out, the president can talk at great length off the top of his head, as he did this week in response to the Zimmerman verdict (FREE audio).
Beck finds this fact troubling, and revealing.
“When it comes to ‘the police acting stupidly’ or anything to do with identity politics, this man is ready to roll for hours,” Beck said to his audience. After all, “it’s [Obama’s] lifelong passion.”
Beck continued, “The man who was supposed to unite the United States of America is an expert on the most divisive form of politics in existence today. I’m sorry, but I’ve never seen a leader behave this way, ever.”
