Activist and author Mark Dice in the past has convinced people to sign a petition to increase the rate of inflation and tried to sell a $1,000 gold coin for $5 to America's unsuspecting, and apparently sometimes unthinking, public.
This time he's convincing them, most quite easily, to sign a petition to repeal the First Amendment.
"How is this so easy?" he asks after a member of the public listens to his spiel, and signs.
Dice lines up a rather convincing patter:
"If you're disagreeing President Obama, you're obviously a racist of some kind," he spouts. "So we're going to repeal their First Amendment."
"In these tough times, they don't really have that right, I don't think."
"This will repeal the First Amendment so that those rightwingers can't say hateful things about Obama."
"I'm tired of these people having the right to say what they want to say."
When he tells one signer, "Thank you for helping to support repealing the First Amendment," the signer says, "No worries man. Have a good one."
Dice ramps up for the next person.
"We need revisions of freedom of speech. It has its limits. We need to get behind the president."
"I'm with you on that," said a signer.
Dice describes himself online as a media analyst, political activist and author.
His videos have earned him mentions on ABC, Fox News, CNN, the Drudge Report and others.
In his own words, he "enjoys enlightening zombies …. (ignorant people) about the mass media's effect on our culture, pointing out Big Brother's prying eyes, and exposing elite secret societies along with scumbag politicians and their corrupt political agendas."
He has a bachelor's degree in communication from California State University and lives in San Diego.
