Michael Savage blasts … religious leaders?

Dr. Savage castigated American religious leaders for remaining silent while Coptic Christians in Egypt were being persecuted. He reserved his harshest condemnation for the “pet” rabbis who inevitably get invited to schmooze at the White House (FREE audio).
“What happened to ‘never again’?” Savage wondered, adding, “That’s why the synagogues and churches are largely empty. People go there for spiritual renewal and they come home with a sour stomach.
“People would go every week if there was a fiery leader who would talk about the truth and spirituality and what was going on in the world,” he contended.
Savage also condemned Obama’s decision to halt military aid to Egypt’s generals. By doing so, Savage said, the president is tacitly supporting the Muslim Brotherhood – as are the likes of George Soros and the Clintons (FREE audio).
“Soros and the Clintons gain by the rise of the Islamists,” he explained. “By defeating the king of Saudi Arabia, they think they can gain control of all the oil wealth.
“And by supporting the Islamists in Egypt over the generals, Soros and the Clintons think they can control the most populous Muslim nation on earth,” Savage said.
Limbaugh created a stir this week when he called the shooting of a young athlete in Oklahoma “Trayvon Martin in reverse, but worse” (FREE audio). Two of the three teenage shooters were black, while the victim was white.
“There has been more outrage in the mainstream media to that stupid clown story at the Missouri State Fair,” Limbaugh noted, “than there has been to this wanton murder in Oklahoma.”
Rush was also concerned about the disillusionment that’s rife among the Millennial generation: “They don’t think the country is good anymore. They don’t think the country’s great. They don’t think the country’s exceptional. They don’t think it’s special. They don’t think that the country holds the answers. In fact, their misplaced faith should be exclusively in Obama. So the damage Obama is doing is even worse than you might think” (FREE audio).
Only investigative broadcaster Aaron Klein reports to American listeners live from the Middle East. He’s joined by Israel’s deputy defense minister to discuss the latest events in Egypt and beyond (FREE audio).
Klein also reveals that thousands of illegal aliens have been flooding across the Mexican/U.S. border recently, prompted by a “credible fear” loophole in the new amnesty law. He also examines the possibility that Obamacare is unconstitutional, and reveals evidence that may explain why military air support was never dispatched to Benghazi.
Mark Levin has been touring the country to promote his new book, “The Liberty Amendments.” At one stop, he was confronted by a “birther” – and wasn’t happy about it.
Back on his radio show, Levin talked about the angry man who’d confronted him in at a book signing, saying Levin was wrong about whether or not Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (who was born in Canada to one American and one Cuban citizen) is eligible to be president.
Talking about the book in Forbes, Ralph Benko wrote, “Levin proposes to reform the federal government from its degenerate, bloated, imperial structure back to its (small r) republican roots,” using existing constitutional amendments that are often overlooked.
Podcaster and bestselling author Adam Carolla took over Laura Ingraham’s mic earlier this week. The veteran broadcaster brought his libertarian sensibility to the show, talked about his journey from his “white trash” childhood to stardom and was joined by his long time on-air co-host, Dr. Drew Pinsky (FREE audio).
Guest host Raymond Arroyo asked Sen. Ted Cruz if he was too focused on defunding Obamacare at the expense of fighting amnesty.
Cruz shot back, “I do think it’s possible to walk and chew gum at the same time,” and added that he considered Obamacare a much bigger threat to America’s future than pending immigration legislation (FREE audio).
Like other radio hosts, Beck wanted to know why the media weren’t “outraged” by the senseless shooting of Chris Lane and why the president hadn’t commented on the tragedy, which some feel was racially motivated.
“Did [Obama] come and say, ‘If I had an illegitimate love child with a white woman, he would look like Lane?’” Beck asked his co-hosts sarcastically (FREE audio).
“Where is Al Sharpton?” Beck added. “Where is the outrage on this?”
