Uh-oh. Things are tense again.
The warning is out: The terrorists are coming! The terrorists are coming!
Red alert! Red alert!
Ramadan is over, and while those members of the religion of peace continue their religious observances, enough of them have leaked plans to wreak havoc worldwide on the people they don't like. The plot apparently emanates from Yemen.
It's those members of the religion of peace who continue their war against the West – and especially Americans. Of course, their list of targets also includes Israel, Jews anywhere and everyone else who is not a Muslim.

You'd think they'd have whiplash, going from sweet religious peace talk to plans to wipe out their perceived religious and cultural enemies.
But they don't. For them, it's routine: They always want to wipe us out. That is the goal.
Isn't it interesting that we have to cower in fear over the possible threats from al-Qaida while the man who is president refuses to identify the perpetrators or use the "T" word or even confirm the fact that we have an "enemy" and that we might even be at war.
The State Department ordered 21 of our embassies and consulates in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia closed Aug. 4 because of what are perceived as legitimate threats against them by terrorist organizations. But the danger warning runs until August 31, so some closings may extend until then.
Those threats not only apply to Americans at their facilities in those countries but the Obama administration has also put out warnings to Americans worldwide until the end of the month.
The warning extends to Americans anywhere but with special attention to tourist areas and all modes of transportation.
Then Interpol did the same, issuing worldwide cautions and travel warnings.
All this – at the height of the tourist season.
Clearly this is something almost unprecedented, and it shows that people who are in charge of security for us think that something dangerous is imminent, perpetrated by a well-financed and clever enemy.
But wait a minute.
Didn't the man who is president tell us that al-Qaida is on the run – something he took pride in accomplishing – so, what happened?
Did Obama lose control of his friends in the Muslim world?
Didn't he tell them that we mean no harm and that while they might want to celebrate the end of their holy month of Ramadan, putting out what spears to be a "shoot to kill" fatwa on the rest of the world is not a civilized way to celebrate?
Apparently not, and it appears that our leader, the president, the commander in chief, has been totally silent on this massive threat to the world.
Obama did meet with the president of Yemen last week. Remember, we're told the plots originated in Yemen. Did they discuss this? Who knows?
Has he appeared on television? Held a press conference? Spoken to the public on radio? Given any interviews? At this point, no.
Where in the world is Barack Obama when the world is threatened by terrorists?
Silent, as usual.
What does this mean for average Americans? Should we cancel our trips and stay home, holed up behind locked doors and praying that some Middle Eastern religious fanatic doesn't fly a plane into the local condo complex or suburban ranch house?
If that's the case for the rest of us, why doesn't the man who is president, his wife and family and all the hangers-on who travel with them, cancel his birthday party and cancel their annual vacation jaunt to Martha's Vineyard?
Last time I looked, that was a tourist area. Then again, things are safer for Obama than they are for the rest of us. He's protected; it's the rest of us who are at risk.
But shouldn't the man who is "the leader of the free world" set a good example?
If not, why not? Then again, why should he start now?
I'm an American. I am told that my family and I are at risk from this "enemy." I am told to take "precautions" if traveling, or visiting places or even going about my routines of life.
Yet we have a man in the Oval Office who refuses to admit we have real enemies, who they are, what they want and, that like it or not, we are at war.
We have a right to have a president who will stand up, admit it, tell us the truth and do something about it – and that does not include "winning the hearts and minds" of tribal people who have no interest in being won over and who enjoy using our military as targets.
Hey folks, it's time for a change, and it can't come too soon.
We have an administration in Washington that treats American citizens like a group of unruly 6 year olds who need pats on the head and admonitions to just calm down and be good.
When are Americans going to stand up and demand some honesty from the Obama administration?
Everyone in Obama's closest circle, the Cabinet and all the top bureaucrats are involved in pulling the wool over the eyes of Americans.
Somehow I believe – I want to believe – they're pushing their luck and if the stars are good to us, it's reaching its end.
From my lips to God's ears.
