(LatinPost) A Brazilian assailant got shot after trying to steal a motorcycle from his owner. The incident took place in the street when the rider of the motorcycle was intercepted by the attacker who was accompanied by a accomplice.

The assailant, identified as Leonardo Escarante, pointed a gun to the victim who got down from the vehicle and let him take it. Bad luck for Escarante, a police office was near of the scene, watching everything, and shot him twice. The accomplice ran away and the assailant was translated to the hospital where he recovers from the wounds.
