(NEW YORK POST) WASHINGTON — As the government shutdown ran through its second day on Wednesday with no end in sight, President Obama issued a stern warning that the nation was headed toward financial catastrophe if there’s no resolution to the crisis.

“This time, I think Wall Street should be concerned,” Obama said.

“When you have a situation in which a faction is willing to default on US obligations, then we are in trouble.”
