See why Obama is worst kind of ideologue

Rush was right. That’s according to a new report from the National Bureau of Economic Research, which concludes that the controversial stimulus compromise Limbaugh had outlined in the Wall Street Journal in 2009 would have helped the economy more than Obama’s “Recovery and Reinvestment Act.”
“Everybody was calling for bipartisanship, and I was offering to help,” a vindicated Limbaugh told his audience this week. “I didn’t think the stimulus was gonna work. I knew it wasn’t gonna work” (Free audio).
Limbaugh rarely welcomes guests to his show, but made an exception for a distinguished visitor: former Vice President Dick Cheney. They talked about Cheney’s new book, “Heart: An American Medical Odyssey” – a timely release in light of the controversy over Obamacare.
Cheney told Rush that Obama’s pet health-care reforms are “a travesty.”
“I think it’s a travesty,” he continued. “I think it’s one of the worst things I’ve ever seen in the domestic policy arena, and I hope we get it shut down before we’re unable to correct it.”
Unrepentant domestic terrorist and Obama associate Bill Ayers has a new memoir out, and Aaron Klein treated listeners to some samples from the Weather Underground leader’s sickeningly self-aggrandizing tome (Free audio).
Klein accuses the president of negotiating away American sovereignty and rights without the average citizen’s knowledge. He also warns that the U.S. is sorely unprepared for an Iranian missile attack and reveals the latest White House lie about Benghazi. Klein’s special guest this week is the ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla.
Looking back on the incompetence and indifference the president displays during every setback, from the IRS scandal and Benghazi to the disastrous Obamacare roll out, Levin condemned Obama as the worst of all possible worlds: “an ideologue who’s lazy as hell” (Free audio).
Sen. Mike Lee of Utah joined Levin to talk about the shutdown, Obamacare and what it was like to be one of the politicians who correctly predicted the current situation (Free audio).
Former Speaker of the House and GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich came on to talk about the state of the culture wars.
He declared that “the militancy of the gay movement has gone from toleration, to acceptance, to dominance. And they are now determined to redefine the entire society around their values. … I think you have a real question here about the replacement of religious liberties with secular intolerance, which was everything this country was founded against.”
Todd Tiahrt, former congressman from Kansas, talked about the “disastrous” nomination of Kathleen Sebelius for Secretary of Health and Human Services.
“She’s been a disaster for the insurance industry, for our state and even for the Democratic Party,” Tiahrt explained, “[which] she left in shambles when she went to Washington. So I’m not surprised at the outcome. What I am surprised about is the new defense of her” (Free audio).
In the middle of Glenn Beck’s interview with Ron Paul, he had to leave and speed to the hospital after being told his daughter had gone into labor. Beck tweeted a few hours later that his first grandchild had been born, and both mother and daughter were doing great.
Beck experienced what he called another “miracle” this week when a distraught man sent him a suicide note in the form of an email.
“There are days that people don’t check my email,” Beck said later, after the man had been rescued by local police. “For your email to come in while someone was checking and them to open your email is nothing but a God thing.”
