Seventeen trillion dollars in debt.
China now wants a “de-Americanized” world.
The petrodollar under attack.
There are just a few of the signs being noted by economist, columnist, radio host and international speaker Jerry Robinson in his weekly “Follow the Money Weekly” podcast.
Under the headline, “The writing is on the wall: The barbarians are at the gate,” Robinson ticks off his concerns, including that $17 trillion in debt, which was raised in just one day by Barack Obama by $328 billion.
Also, he reports, China is ratcheting up its tough talk on the U.S. dollar, calling for a de-Americanized world. And a top Chinese credit rating agency downgraded the U.S.
He said a British paper is warning that these are the final days of the U.S. dollar and China is buying up gold.
Further, the demand for the U.S. dollar in linked to the petroleum industry, and Saudi Arabia is so mad at the West for failing to take action in Syria officials even refused to take a seat on the U.N. Security Council.
“If the Saudis turn away from the U.S. and toward China, the final vestiges of the petrodollar system will be endangered,” he observes. “The writing is on the wall, the barbarians are at the gate, and the sun is setting on the American experiment.”
Also joining the program is Tom Cloud, the precious metals adviser, to talk about the latest impacts on gold and silver prices.
