More than 1/2 of Italian men live with parents

Economic decline contributes to widespread feeling of 'precariousness and uncertainty'

(The Local) More than 50 percent of Italian men still live at home with their parents, according to figures from Italy’s national statistics agency, Istat.

This compares to 35 percent of Italian women, the report found.

Italian men are often stereotyped as ‘mammoni’ or ‘mamma’s boys’, and statistics released on Wednesday prove they’re not showing signs of cutting the apron strings any time soon.
