Christmas carolers are a tradition from days long past, but members of Journey of Faith took it to a whole new level when they hit the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach, Calif.
And more than 5 million people have heard their joyously sung Christmas carol selections since.
The video of the Dec. 18, 2010, presentation to Christmas shoppers has gone viral.
Journey of Faith started out by offering Sunday school classes to Hermosa Beach Children in 1911.
Today, the worship center numbers 2,000 members and occupies an 18,000-square-foot building as one of its several worship sites.
Its mission statement is: "As a community of worshipers we have been sent into the world to make mature and mobilize disciples who love the Lord our God above all else and who touch others with the reality of Jesus Christ."
Its core values include celebrating Jesus Christ, leading with integrity, balancing commitments, targeting the unchurched, renewing minds, connecting with others, equipping for service and sharing faith.
Carols include "Oh Come, All Ye Faithful," "Go Tell It On the Mountain" and "Oh, Holy Night."
