On Jan. 8, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that gonorrhea and syphilis are on the rise in the United States – “mostly in men who have sex with men.”

In 2012, the rate of new gonorrhea cases rose by 4 percent. The rate of new cases of syphilis jumped 11 percent.

Bloomberg quoted Gail Bolan, director of the CDC’s Sexually Transmitted Disease Prevention Division, who declared:

“Many people don’t get tested as recommended. That’s especially the case for syphilis – where the rise is entirely attributable to men – particularly those who are gay or bisexual.”

And this report went on to disclose:

“Sexually transmitted diseases … cost the U.S. health-care system about $16 billion every year.”

Dr. George Rutherford, professor of epidemiology at the University of California at San Francisco, noted the following:

“With most of these populations, having a sexually transmitted disease from having sex with another man is highly stigmatized. They’d rather not get tested for HIV, syphilis, or whatever. They don’t want it to show up on their records.”

This Bloomberg news story also reported:

“A November study from U.S. health officials found a 20 percent rise in unprotected sex among gay men – with sexual risks highest for those who haven’t been tested for HIV.

“An analysis of data by the CDC from 20 major U.S. cities found that the number of men who reported having unprotected anal sex in the past year rose in 2011 from 2005.”

This report also disclosed:

“Men who didn’t know they were HIV positive were more than twice as likely to have sex with someone who wasn’t infected, compared with those who knew their HIV status.”

All of this health disaster news has been reported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Jan. 8.

Has anyone seen any response from the considerable number of homosexual activist groups, so many of whom have news releases published regularly by so much of Old Big Media?

One of the malignant major media miracles of our time is their cooperation with the sodomy lobby – rather than strongly opposing the aberrant same-sex behavior that causes so much of the dreadful diseases syphilis and gonorrhea.
