(KFOR-TV) The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy by a police officer.

The family of Christopher Roupe says the teen had a Wii game remote in his hand when he opened the door to officers serving an arrest warrant for his father.

The officer says she believed the teen was holding a pistol and fired.

A neighbor said, “Going to the Marine Corp., he’s never been in trouble. Just a good kid all the way around.”
