(Patriot-News) A York County charter school teacher charged with possession of 97 bags of heroin has been placed on administrative leave from her special education teaching job.

Megan Butler Warner, 39, of the 700 block of Hardwick Place in York, was charged Wednesday with a felony charge of possession with intent to delivery resulting from a Jan. 19 incident in Spring Township, Berks County.

She is a teacher at Helen Thackston Charter School in York. The school board issued a statement today that Warner has been placed on administrative leave until the matter can be fully investigated.
