The “funding father” of the conservative movement will be a guest Tuesday night on Mark Levin's nationally syndicated talk-radio show.
Richard Viguerie will join Levin at 8:30 p.m. Eastern to discuss "Takeover: The 100-Year War for the Soul of the GOP and How Conservatives Can Finally Win It."
Levin’s show, with more than 8.5 million listeners weekly, can be heard live on more than 150 stations across the U.S. and also on SIRIUS XM Patriot channel.
In an earlier interview with WND, Viguerie discussed the themes of “Takeover,” which draws on his decades of experience working in Republican politics and conservative fundraising.
“I have a number of themes in my book, but a major theme is that conservatives have had their political guns pointed at the wrong targets all these years," he said.

"Takeover: The 100-Year War for the Soul of the GOP and How Conservatives Can Finally Win It" is available now at the WND Superstore.
He said Republicans are in a 102-year-old war with progressives.
"But you’re going to lose a war if you don’t realize you’re in it," he said. "The GOP will not be going to the political promised land until we get new leaders.”
Viguerie documents in his book his assertion that the greatest impediment to conservative governance is not the Democrats and liberals.
"It is the progressive leadership of the Big Government Republican establishment in the halls of Congress, state houses and at Republican headquarters, especially at the Republican National Committee,” he said.
Conservatives, he believes, must "change the way the Republican primary election game is played so as to give qualified, boat-rocking conservative candidates like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul far better chances of defeating establishment Republicans.”
Published by WND Books in April, “Takeover” documents how century-long civil war within the GOP is building to a climax.
With Americans weary of government spending and overreach, approval ratings of Congress and the president at historic lows,
The time is ripe to change the political landscape, Viguerie contends.
Americans are weary of federal government overreach and overspending, and approval ratings for the president and Congress are at historic lows.
"Takeover" offers readers practical steps to succeed in taking over the GOP, electing a conservative Congress and president, and governing America by 2017.
Viguerie is the founder and chairman of American Target Advertising Inc., which has used computerized direct mail and the Internet to help build the conservative movement.
He transformed American politics by pioneering the use of direct mail as a means for conservatives to bypass the liberal monopoly on the media. His efforts helped elect Ronald Reagan as the first conservative president of the modern era, and his company continues to be America’s largest conservative marketing company.
