The economy. War in Ukraine. And Syria. And Africa. Taxes. Pollution. Politicians doing who knows what…
Depressing, right?
But one of WND's regular commentary contributors, David Rives, has released a new song that offers some comfort for the faithful.
The lyrics of "In His Hands" take on the pressures of the world directly:
TRENDING: America's most dangerous demographic
"Sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in
"A silence magnified, a world gripped with sin
"And when you feel like drowning, friend, just take a breath
"You're in His hands."
The chorus adds:
"He can move the mountains
"He can calm the seas
"When you are discouraged
"He will bring you peace
"When we are not able
"I know He has a plan
"I know the one who's faithful
"And I'm in His hands"
"I'm so excited to give people to opportunity to listen to my new song. I hope it is a blessing to everyone who listens," said Rives.
"So much work was put into this, and I had a ton of support from the best... Mixed by Ainslie Grosser (Aaron Shust, Matt Redman, Laura Story, Big Daddy Weave) and mastered by Bob Boyd (Building 429, Steven Curtis Chapman), it sounds incredible! Engineered by my good friend, Steve Dady (Booth Brothers, Phillips Craig & Dean), this song has been on my heart for a while now, and I can't wait for you to finally hear it."
Rives' work is seen on WND as "The Heavens Declare The Glory of God" commentaries.
Rivers also a public speaker and the host of the weekly television show “Creation in the 21st Century” on TBN.
Rivers ministries concern, well, everything.
"The Alpha and Omega left a pattern of His fingerprints across each corner of the universe, found even in the tiniest crevices of our planet," he explains about his work to confirm the accuracy of the biblical record.
Rives is well known for his work in the field of biblical astronomy.
