Its haunting repetition of the same few notes and open harmonies give a new video from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, ISIL, a definite Middle Eastern flavor.

Its message about killing Jews and Christians ties it securely to those members of Islam who follow the Quran, observers say.

The video, which is being publicized by the Middle East Media Research Institute, comes from ISIL, a part of the forces that now are reaching out across the Middle East to establish a Shariah-enforcing religious state.

MEMRI observes, interprets and analyzes media offerings throughout the Middle East.

Officials at the Religious Freedom Coalition note the singing is about “slaughtering of Jews and Christians and establishing an Islamic dictatorship.”

“These killers are marching victoriously through Iraq today, murdering thousands in Syria; and terrorizing unarmed citizens throughout Africa,” the organization said. “They’re on the march and Obama helps them through his inaction or by directly supporting their efforts in nations like Syria.”

While the singing is in the ISIL’s native language, the titles that flash across the screen are in English.

They include:

Oh soldiers of Truth, let’s go.
Repeat the tune of endurance.
A light has illuminated Shaam [the Levant],
so rally all the soldiers.
The Islamic state has been established,
so wipe out all the borders.
Wherever our wars goes,
Jewish rabbis are humiliated.
Oh soldiers of Truth, let’s go.
Repeat the tune of endurance.
A light has illuminated Shaam [the Levant],
so rally all the soldiers.
The Islamic state has been established,
so wipe out all the borders.
Wherever our wars goes,
Jewish rabbis are humiliated.
Break the crosses and destroy the lineage of the grandsons of monkeys.
The state of monotheism will remain in spite of the lies of the hateful people.
Oh soldiers of Truth, let’s go.

Various sections then are repeated.

The date on the video is less than two weeks ago, just as a new campaign by Islam adherents appeared to be launching across Iraq.

Those jihadists since have announced “The March” to Baghdad, promising those who stand in their way should know “tragedies will befall you in the coming days, Allah willing.”

That documentation also comes from the Middle East Media Research Institute, which said the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also known as ISIS and described as more fearsome and violent than al-Qaida, issued a statement after two recent suicide bombings, a car bomb that targeted police forces and another hitting soldiers in Sadr City.

“We say to the [government] and its parties, militias and security apparatuses: be aware that tragedies will befall you in the coming days, Allah willing.”

The statement said: “Following the recent victories that Allah granted ISIS, and the arrival of additional manpower, funds, weapons and military vehicles of all kinds, your brothers in the Baghdad province – may Allah liberate it – in coordination with other provinces, announce the initiation of a new campaign that we have called ‘The March.’ The heroes of battle and raging lions already carried out the first surge of this campaign when two knights of Islam (suicide bombers) set out to demolish two strongholds of the … government and its lackeys.”
