(WASHINGTON FREE BEACON) Eighteen out of 20 illegal immigrant children failed to appear in court for their immigration hearings in Texas on Tuesday, Dallas News reported.

On average, 46 percent of minors fail to appear to their immigration trails.

The absentee rate was so high that federal Immigration Judge Michael Baird rescheduled the court date to Aug. 11, in case the children were not properly notified of the hearing.
