(NEW YORK POST) A group of aid workers and journalists trying to stop the spread of Ebola were slaughtered by residents of a small African village where they went to provide help, reports said.
The bodies of eight people were discovered by government officials in the village latrine, some of them with their throats slit, a government spokesman said Thursday.
“It’s very sad and hard to believe, but they were killed in cold blood by the villagers,” the spokesman said.
