(WorldTechToday) The first-ever sun portrait taken by NASA's NuSTAR telescope in high-energy X-rays revealed dynamic hues of colors of the gigantic solar flare. The first picture was documented on December 19 and was released by the space agency earlier this week.
The first image revealed by NASA proves efficiency of the super sensitive NuSTAR telescope in capturing the sun and helping solve a long-standing mystery. Nuclear Spectroscopic Telescope Array, abbreviated for NuSTAR, was primarily built to observe distant high-energy phenomena like black holes and supernovas.
