Talk-radio icon Rush Limbaugh says President Obama is actually breaking down the U.S. justice system by his comments on controversies such as the refusal of grand juries in New York and Missouri to indict police officers for the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
"The president out there inciting anger over grand-jury decisions?" Limbaugh wondered aloud on his Monday broadcast. "That is the height of irresponsibility, go out and praise LeBron James for disagreeing with a grand-jury decision and urging more athletes to take steps and action or whatever against grand-jury decisions?
"Presidents, attorneys general ought to be coming out and explaining to people the grand-jury system and telling them what all went on here and giving them as much of the evidence that was presented as possible to show them why what happened was the truth," he said.

What do YOU think? Who is most to blame for anti-cop violence? Sound off in the WND Poll.
Obama famously said the Cambridge, Massachusetts, police department acted "stupidly" for the arrest of a black man in 2009. Later he commented how if he had a son, he would look like Trayvon Martin, the black youth who apparently attacked a neighborhood watch volunteer and was shot.
Lately, Obama's been commenting on the Ferguson, Missouri, death of Brown, and the New York City death of Garner.
On Monday, Limbaugh noted Obama also has been asking for a "rejection of violence and words that harm."
"Well, there's a place he might want to start then, and that would be in his own house," Limbaugh said. "Let's review, shall we? According to President Obama, white cops are racists. We knew this from the first term when his buddy Skip Gates was arrested by that idiot cop or dumb cop wherever he was in, in Cambridge.
"We've also [been] told by President Obama – I'm just gonna remind you what he said. You might be discomforted by this, but the president told us that surgeons are actually butchers who just do unnecessary work for the money."
Limbaugh continued, "The president, Elizabeth Warren, anybody else, the Democrat Party is out telling everybody that'll listen that the successful really aren't successful, that they really didn't do it. That the successful are just clever parasites living off of thievery, trickery, or what other kind of ill-gotten means in order to screw people out of their money, but they didn't build that. Their business would not have been possible without the hard work of the victims who are their customers."
He said, "People have been hearing this kind of thing for six years, folks, and the kind of people we're talking about it have believed it for six years. Police officers, doctors, shops, they're not real. Norman Rockwell icons, that's not really America. America's not really made up of wholesome families … because life in America is torture, and life in America is stress, and life in America is one trauma and one crisis and chaos after chaos.
"We're told this, and we are told who's responsible for it. The Koch Brothers, Mitt Romney, me, talk radio, Fox News, anybody successful is blamed for the misery and unhappiness of everybody else."
He noted now Obama is asking for a "dialogue" with those like the attacker to killed two New York police officers over the weekend.
"You know who he wants dialogue between? What is dialogue? My friend Andy McCarthy had a really robust piece on this Saturday in National Review. Maybe it was yesterday, Saturday or Sunday, National Review Online. What is dialogue? Dialogue is a conversation between two legitimate sides that have opposing views. You sit down and you talk about it. But the key to dialogue is that both sides are legitimate," he said.
"We're supposed to have dialogue with the cop killers? How are they legitimate? But that's what Obama's saying. Patient dialogue. With who? The cops are supposed to sit down with who? Folks, look. Despite all the protestations and all the people literally throwing their hands up and saying, 'Not me, not me,' instead of 'Don't shoot, don't shoot.' They've all got blood on their hands. The mayor of New York City, blood on his hands. The Reverend Al Sharpton, blood on his hands."
Limbaugh said Obama's comment recently about LeBron James' blast at a grand jury that refused to indict the New York officer was, "You know, I think LeBron did the right thing."
"Obama noted that there has been a rich of tradition of athletes speaking out on public issues, particularly during the volatile 1960s. 'We forget the role that Muhammad Ali, Arthur Ashe and Bill Russell played in raising consciousness,' the president said. That tradition has dimmed in recent years, he added. 'We went through a long stretch there where (with) well-paid athletes the notion was: just be quiet and get your endorsements and don't make waves,' Obama said. 'LeBron is an example of a young man who has, in his own way and in a respectful way, tried to say, 'I'm part of this society, too' and focus attention. I'd like to see more athletes do that -- not just around this issue, but around a range of issues.'"
Limbaugh said that was just wrong.
"Do you believe that the justice system or justice is about finding the truth? If you said 'no,' you are closer to being right than not. So if the justice system is not about finding the truth, what is it? The justice system -- and this is, by the way, this is gonna infuriate some, which is going to end up making the point, the justice system is about the peaceful resolution of disputes. Now, it's never gonna get everything exactly right, and that's the point. When it doesn't go your way, you still respect it. If it's going to work, if the justice system is going to work, it has to be respected, whether it goes your way in a particular case or not. And you have to know that it's never gonna go totally your way all the time. The justice system is like any other system set up and devised by mortal human beings: It is flawed. It isn't perfect," he said.
"The president, this is incendiary, to go out and say we need more athletes speaking up against the grand jury. No. Unless you're trying to tear down the system. … I know, I know, you're gonna have grievance – the whole Democrat Party now is one big grievance industry, and they're gonna claim that they never get a break and it always is a stacked deck against them. That isn't true! Especially now it isn't true."
He said, "This is why Obama is really conducting a disservice on all of this by encouraging people, sports stars and anybody else to rag on the justice system such as grand-jury proceedings. This is irresponsible. He is the number one law-enforcement officer in the country, swears an oath, this is outrageous. He should be doing the exact opposite what he's doing and throwing cold water on all this fire, and he's not doing that."
