NASHVILLE, Tenn. – It’s not every day you get a chance to meet an international superstar in an intimate gathering, get your photo taken with him and have it autographed in person.
It’s even more rare when that living legend is Chuck Norris, known globally for his movies, his TV shows, his martial arts championships, his columns in WND.com and his viral “jokes.”
But about 100 lucky people will get that opportunity 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, immediately following the National Religious Broadcasters convention at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in an intimate gathering to celebrate his 75th birthday.
The exclusive private reception will take place following the presentation of the NRB Chairman’s Award to Norris in the grand finale of the convention that runs from Feb. 23-26, and WND is accepting reservations now.
Norris first made his mark as a renowned teacher of martial arts and was a six-time undefeated World Professional Middle Weight Karate Champion. He is the first man from the Western Hemisphere in the 4,500+ year tradition of Tae Kwon Do to be awarded an eighth degree Black Belt Grand Master ranking. He has also starred in 24 motion pictures. Furthermore, his television series, “Walker, Texas Ranger,” ran for eight-and-a-half years and was the most successful Saturday night series on CBS since “Gunsmoke.”
While in Nashville for the NRB gathering, WND is hosting the exclusive private reception for Norris in honor of his 75th birthday the following month. It’s a chance for 100 fans of Norris to meet and greet their hero, share birthday cake and get their picture taken with the star and have it autographed on the spot. Other celebrities, including Gov. Mike Huckabee, are expected to be on hand for the occasion to honor Norris for his lifetime of achievement.
“This exclusive private reception with Chuck Norris represents a once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet the superstar in an intimate gathering, get your picture taken with him, have him sign it and share coffee and birthday cake with the entertainment and martial arts legend,” said Joseph Farah, editor and chief executive officer of WND.com, the sponsor of the event.
It is unnecessary to register for attendance at NRB 15 to take part. However, tickets for the party are extremely limited, non-refundable and non-transferrable – first come, first served.
Telephone orders can be made by calling 1.800.4WND.COM.
