Chuck Norris has just lost his credibility ["Ready for a new U.S. Constitutional Convention?"] And he will likely lose his esteemed U.S. Constitution.
Does he really believe our Constitution could survive a modern constitutional convention in the mental and moral climate of 2015? Is he willing to let Jesse Jackson, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and George Soros get their hands on the Constitution and make unlimited revisions to that great document? Mr. Norris has just joined the academy of supreme fools. But worse, how many readers will his repetitious, long-winded, budget lament carry off into the con-con wilderness?
Wake up, Chuck. It's not about budgets; it's about power. A con-con is a sovereign assembly. Nothing written in a state's application has any force once the convention is convened.
