Fox News host Bill O'Reilly's view of the media is so negative that Tehran rates higher on the credibility scale, at least when it comes to telling the truth about the looming U.S.-Iran nuclear deal, he said.
In a recent show with analyst Brit Hume, O'Reilly spoke of the ongoing nuclear talks and the range of problems that have slowed its passage.
Hume commented about the hesitancy of Republicans to support the deal due to their distrust of President Obama and of Iran.

O'Reilly quipped: If trust were the main factor in every deal between Republicans and the White House, nothing would get done, Mediaite reported.
He then commented: "I don't trust the press. I think I trust Iran more than I trust the American press. I don't want the American press interpreting this for me. I want to see it in the committee hearings on television. I want to see the debate."
