Last night I watched the RVs and travel trailers driving through our flyover country hideaway late into the night, the families inside looking forward to the long Memorial Day weekend.
Earlier that day I took the dog to the park. There I paused underneath the black POW/MIA flag as it flapped in the wind. Just to its side is a granite memorial. Inscribed are the names of those from this small community who gave their lives since World War I.
Somewhere there has to be justice for the men and women who died on the battlefields or rotted in those hellhole prisons so generously maintained by freedom's enemies, to advance the extinction of the human spirit.
There is no longer any justice for them in America.
Drudge's as-yet unregulated headline reads, "Obamatrade Secret Ahead of Vote." The people's representatives now willingly vote on secret legislation. Shades of Mrs. Pelosi, who shrieked to the House: "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it!"
A prophetess in her own time. The same Congress but now under Republican leadership is preparing to reauthorize the Patriot Act, which would otherwise die a natural death on the last sunset this Memorial Day May. The 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals ruled earlier this month that the domestic espionage carried on by government machinery exceeded the law and was of a nature never intended by Congress. The court ruled this internal espionage illegal. So of course this Congress should renew it, preferably in secret.
The warrants that issue for this anything, anyone and everything data collection come from a secret court. The data are collected in secret. The secret data go into everyone's secret permanent file, which is, of course, kept secret. Neither the FBI nor the NSA can find any terrorist plots that were prevented by their secret data hoard.
But I'd bet Mitt Romney could speak to the issue, given his election experience. The Russian KGB and East German Stasi were only able to dream of such an informer's network. They had to rely on priests, teachers and disgruntled spouses or lovers to destroy their state's more annoying critics.
The Gay Old Party campaigned on stopping Obama's agenda. Yet the GOP's leadership, given a commanding majority in both houses during the last election – and supported by even those who didn't call themselves Republicans – stands in opposition only to its own younger members, the men and women principled enough to try to keep promises they made to the voters at election time. The national press corpse (sic) thinks it's all wonderful theater. And anyway, somebody has to pay for the enormous salaries given to former Democratic strategists who today write and report the news.
The country is being intentionally flooded with illegal immigrants, in part to make up for the shortfall of 70 million euthanized American babies who never made it out of the womb, never had a chance to become productive citizens, never paid Social Security taxes and never got a chance to say goodbye to their families. The Repocrats and Demopublicans' only battles today are which party gets to roll out the red carpet for the new immigrant lawbreakers.
The current Supreme Court justices, not satisfied with their predecessors' abortion ruling that cost 70 million infants their lives, is now set to take a break from performing gay weddings and make a new, groundbreaking ruling to complete the destruction of families as they have existed from the beginning of time. Those who do not learn from the past …
The 3-cent dollar, in place under the Federal Reserve's careful management as Bush II and Obama I passed one another at the inauguration ceremony, has now been diluted beyond measuring with electronic transfers of debt to future generations of Americans who will never know freedom or America, let alone prosperity.
One modern prayer, however, has been answered. The Rev. Jeremiah Wright's vision for America, so frequently prayed in the presence of Barack Obama during those years in his congregation, has finally been answered.
Rest in peace, those who loved, suffered and died for America on her battlefields, in defense of her freedom, and in the hellholes of our enemies' prisons. God is slow to anger, but his justice lasts an eternity.
Then he told me, Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near. (Rev 22:10)
