Former Vice President Dick Cheney said during a recent interview on "The Cats Roundtable" in New York he has no clue how President Obama thinks or what motivates him, and he's puzzled in particular by the commander in chief's foreign policy on ISIS.
"I've tried for a long time, John, to understand what makes him tick and frankly, I don't know," Cheney told host John Catsimatidis on AM 970, the Hill reported.
He said he doesn't understand Obama's counterterrorism policy one bit and called the U.S.-led airstrikes against ISIS an example of the president's confusing logic.

"I don't think he really wants to be there," Cheney said, the Hill reported. "Obama has placed pretty severe limits on what our air guys can do. It's half a loaf, it's pin pricks. It's not a very effective military operation at this point."
Cheney faulted Obama for allowing ISIS to see its significant gains in Iraq and called it a "circus" that's "not getting any better."
And potential Democratic presidential replacements aren't much better, he added.
"I must say I am surprised there isn't more opposition to her within the Democratic Party," Cheney said, of Hillary Clinton. "I think there's serious problems there that need to be investigated. ... If I was a Democratic voter, I would be looking for new talent."
