An aide to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign made a somewhat shocking admission on "Morning Joe" on MSNBC on Monday morning, telling host Joe Scarborough and crowd the Clinton camp was definitely "worried" about the buzz being created by rival Bernie Sanders.
"He's a force," campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri said. "He'll be a serious force for the campaign. We think that will – I don't think that will diminish."
Palmieri agreed that while Clinton is regarded the "presumptive nominee," the primary race against self-declared socialist Sen. Sanders is heating up and competitive.

"It's to be expected that Sanders will do well in the Democratic primary," she said. "He'll run his campaign; we'll run ours. I think the imperatives for us are different. We think that what works for her particularly in Iowa is doing a lot of small events, staying for a long time, being one of the last people – if not the last person – to leave the room."
Palmieri then said: "Of course we're worried [about Sanders]. This is an election; he is doing well. And we'll have to ... make our case. We knew this was going to happen."
