A 26-year-old illegal immigrant with a criminal past and who was in deportation proceedings now faces charges of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl while out on bond.
Keane Dean, from the Philippines, was apprehended by authorities in Los Angeles County a week ago when they found him hiding in his garage with a girl, 14, who was reported missing by parents. The girl, whose name is being withheld, told police Dean had approached her at a grocery and befriended her – and then sexually assaulted her.
The Associated Press reported Dean was in the country illegally and had a record that included jail time for burglary and indecent exposure. He had been put place in detention for his immigration violation in October, and was awaiting deportation. But a judge later granted his release, based on a $10,000 bond.

He was ordered to wear a GPS cuff, however, and to check in with his immigration officer on a monthly basis.
He was free for just a few weeks when he allegedly committed the new crime against the teen. Breitbart reported he will now be charged with sexual assault of a minor.
His case comes to court just as the nation is waking up to the number of egregious crimes committed by illegals in this country. Just three weeks ago, a woman named Kate Steinle was walking down a pier in San Francisco with her father when an illegal immigrant allegedly shot and killed her, in broad daylight. Her parents spoke to a Capitol Hill crowd during a congressional hearing just this week.
