(THV11) — Kroger officials announced on Sunday that they are removing four spices from the store's shelves including those in Arkansas.
Spices that will be removed under the recall include Kroger Ground Cinnamon, Kroger Garlic Powder, Kroger Coarse Ground Black Pepper and Kroger Bac'n Buds.
According to reports, a sample of Kroger Garlic Powder from a store in North Augusta, South Carolina was tested by the FDA and was found to be contaminated with Salmonella.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with any of these products, but as a precaution they have decided to remove the seasonings that were produced on the same equipment in the same facility.
