A new terror threat from al-Qaida is urging lone wolf attacks on notable U.S. business leaders, including Bill Gates and Michael Bloomberg.
The Islamic call for kills came by way of the terror group's magazine, Inspire, on the cusp of the 14th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on American soil.
Making the list: Internet guru Larry Ellison, casino bigwig Sheldon Adelson, computer programmer and inventor Bill Gates, industrialists Charles and David Koch, businessman and former mayor Michael Bloomberg, and billionaire investor Warren Buffett. Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke also graced the list, as well as Jim Walton, Walmart heir.

The magazine edition opens with a photo illustration of several blood-spattered images of the business leaders by a dripping gun, alongside the call to put a halt to the "revival of the America Economy," NBC News reported.
The article then goes on to say the "economic personalities" and "wealthy entrepreneurs" could see their names removed from the hit list if they would withdraw all their money from U.S. banks and refrain from investing in overseas' markets. They must do one other thing, the article states: denounce Israel.
"There is compelling evidence from the Boston Marathon bombings and other various thwarted terror plots that homegrown jihadists have specifically looked to the magazine for guidance on what targets to attack, and have taken that advice quite literally," said Evan Kohlmann of Flashpoint Intelligence, NBC News reported.
The magazine has previously published a hit list of names of U.S. business leaders. In December 2014, Bernanke and Gates, as well as several others, were targeted for terrorist killing in the pages of the publication.
