Federal agents seeking motivation and information about the San Bernardino terror attack that left 14 dead and even more injured have now shifted their focus to Rafia Farook, the mother of shooter Syed Farook.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch confirmed the FBI was questioning the matriarch Farook. Fox News reported the home she shared with her son and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, the other shooter in the deadly attack, was stormed and searched for the second time by law enforcement on Sunday.
"Obviously, it's something that we're looking at very, very closely," said Lynch, on Ms. Farook's level of involvement and knowledge of the attacks, the Daily Mail reported.

The mother's already been interviewed once, in the hours right after the shooting. And following, her family attorney, David Chesley, said law enforcement found no ties to terrorism.
Lynch, meanwhile, on Sunday was still downplaying the ISIS angle, despite the emerging evidence – like Malik's Facebook pledge to ISIS in the hours before the attack – that indicates the terror group may have been involved, indirectly if not directly, in bringing about the couple's radicalization.
"We're not sure which one (fanatical ideology) they picked in this case, despite the media accounts," Lynch said, adding the White House was still trying to discern if ISIS or a different terror group had helped radicalize Farook and Malik.
