Mark Levin, one of conservative radio's biggest voices, came out swinging against Donald Trump, saying the billionaire businessman is running a "Nixonian" campaign that's unfairly blasting Sen. Ted Cruz and wrongly questioning his character.
He also criticized Trump for operating like an "Alinskyite," a reference to the far-left activist Saul Alinksy, who penned the widely cited "Rules for Radicals." That manual of enacting societal change has been frequently used to describe President Obama's politics.

Levin, on his show, now tied it with Trump.
"If [Trump] becomes the nominee, a lot of people who otherwise would unite under that tent may not, because when you run a campaign of personal attacks, an Alinskyite campaign, wittingly or unwittingly, you turn people off," Levin said, as Mediaite reported.
Levin also pointed to the fallacies of Trump's deal-making abilities, saying the problem in Washington isn't that politicians can't make deals, but rather it's about "the kind of deals they make," he said.
Levin then referred to Trump's "dirty, low-down politics," including the campaign's harping on Cruz's supposed covering up of loans, Mediaite reported. And he then posed to listeners: "Is that Reaganesque or more Nixonesque? ... Stop lying about it."
