Dear Mr. Farah,
While I will not defend the National Review in any way (I don't read it), its attack on Donald Trump is appropriate on many levels ["Trump and the National Review irrelevants"].
Donald Trump and the word "conservative" cannot be used in the same sentence, paragraph or book (maybe in a novel). He has been on the opposite side of every issue he now pretends to be conservative on:
- Pro-life – not so much
- Small government/states rights – Ha!
- Second Amendment – not until about six months ago
- Secure borders – again, six months ago
- Supporter of the Constitution – NEVER
I could go on and on, but you know all of this.

I'm very disappointed that people are falling for his deceptive rhetoric. What has happened to us? Have we fallen so far from God that we can't see truth anymore? Easy answer: yes.
Donald Trump is about revenge. He's tapped into the raw emotion of distrust after having been abused by seven years of Obama. The total disregard for everything that is inherently American: self-determination, love of freedom, the knowledge that our rights come from God, not from government. This country's very essence is the God-given right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We don't need the government's permission to defend ourselves. We don't need them to choose the winners and losers. We need them to defend the country from foreign aggressors and then get the hell out of our lives.
I shouldn't have to tell you that Donald Trump doesn't represent any of these values. He destroys those that stand in his way. He mocks and belittles anyone with a differing opinion – and his ego … really, I need to explain this to you?
We need a God-fearing man who will uphold the Constitution. Donald Trump ain't it.
Every great civilization in history was destroyed from within. Why should we be any different?
May the Lord have mercy on our souls.
