George Soros, billionaire investor, kicked in a quick $6 million for one of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton's super PACs, suggesting through a spokesperson he's always liked how accessible the former secretary of state has proven for him.
Neera Tanden, who now heads up the left-leaning Center for American Progress, emailed Clinton and said, the Hill reported: "I told [Soros] I worked for you in the primaries and he said he's been impressed that he can always call/meet with you on an issue of policcy and said he hasn't met with the president ever (though I thought he had)."
The $6 million from Soros went to Priorities USA Action, one of Clinton's super-PACs. He gave $1 million on a previous occasion to the same group. And his combined $7 million represents nearly a quarter of the more than $25 million the organization has raised for the presidential hopeful in the last six months.
In all, Priorities for USA Action raised $41 million in 2015, the Hill reported.
In the last six months, Priorities USA Action raised a little more than $25 million.
