(The Hill) Donald Trump is crushing the Republican field in South Carolina, more than doubling his closest competitor ahead of the primary on Feb. 20, according to a new poll.

Trump laps the field with 34.5 percent support in the South Carolina House Republican Caucus poll, followed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) with 15.5 percent support, former Florida governor Jeb Bush with 13 percent support, and Sen. Marco Rubio with 12.5 percent support.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) places fifth with 8.5 percent support, followed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson with 5 percent support.

Eleven percent of respondents remain undecided before the state’s Feb. 20 primary.
