Dear Mr. Peterson,
Each time I see your name, putting forth a column, I have to read it. You are such a great writer. You seem to know just how to reach people's hearts and minds.
I am thankful to be able to read your columns; they are full of truths and heartwarming observations.
I am 70 now, and after living with my mother her last seven years, I did what this article suggests ["An inmate's powerful story of forgiveness"] – and it was life-changing. I, like so many others, hated my mother almost all my life. But when I spoke to her in love, and told her everything I felt as a child growing up, and how it changed me, it was so freeing. People who have done this know.
Thanks again. I appreciate you.
Judith
