I am convinced that the Obama administration and Clinton Dynasty would rather hail the Communist Manifesto than the Declaration of Independence this Fourth of July. And there's more than enough proof to show how they have been slow-cooking our Founders' republic into a red-star state like China.
First, I believe every American citizen should be mortified and furious that the Obama administration covered up the Orlando terrorist's real Islamic motive. Obama and the mainstream media initially painted the attack that killed 49 people and wounded 50 as dominantly an anti-gay hate crime, yet softened the only reason the murderous thug gave for his heinous massacre: allegiance to Islamic jihad.
Then, this past Monday, the FBI confessed that the killer did in fact "identify himself as an Islamic soldier." They also confessed that someone among the Obama administration's Department of Justice selectively edited the transcript of the killer's 911 call in which he swore his allegiance to ISIS and its leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.
By the afternoon on Monday of last week, the FBI and DOJ were forced to reverse course and release the redacted sections of the 911 call, when faced with intense public and political pressure to do so. They included the following:
Killer: "Praise be to God, and prayers as well as peace be upon the prophet of God. I let you know, I'm in Orlando and I did the shootings."
Operator: "What's your name?"
Killer: "My name is I pledge of allegiance to Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi of the Islamic State."
On Wednesday, U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch had the gall to try and justify their cover up: "The goal is of course the greatest transparency. The initial thought was we did not want to provide a further platform for the propaganda of the killer. Once it became an issue, we decided we would go ahead and release the full transcript."
"The goal is of course the greatest transparency"? So they covered up the real wording of the Orlando terrorist?
And then to add insult to injury, Attorney General Lynch doubled down by refusing to say who made the decision to redact part of the Orlando 911 call.
Lynch mastered cover-up and dodged transparency again when she said, "I'm not going to go into the detail of the process behind it. Our review was not to further spread the propaganda, but once it became a distraction, we released the whole transcript."
Orlando was the worst shooting massacre on U.S. soil, yet they didn't want to tell us who was really responsible? As if ISIS attacks are new to our virgin ears or our enemies'? And then aids and abets them by not telling us who is really responsible?
Why did Lynch and the Obama administration withhold the real motive of the terrorist? It's obvious. It reflects the Obama administration's legacy and agenda of reluctance to acknowledge the threat posed by radical Islam, proven by their minimization of the shooter's connection to the Islamic State.
What's wrong with this picture?
Nothing, if you know about and have been watching Obama fulfill his 2008 promise to "fundamentally transform the United States of America."
The Congressional-Executive Commission on China, co-chaired by Sen. Marco Rubio, reported about "free speech" in China: "Despite barriers to access to the means of publication and the dangers inherent in publishing political news and information, members of China's 'free-speech elite' are able to express concerns and criticism regarding the government with less fear of punishment than the average Chinese citizen. [But guess how small and restricted the 'free-speech elite' are?] This group is composed of senior government and Communist Party leaders, those with the patronage of such leaders and, to a lesser extent, academics and journalism professionals. The only people in China who can publish criticisms of, or opinions contrary to those of, the Communist Party, are senior members of the Communist Party."
For a minute, I didn't know if I was reading about President Liu Shaoqi or Barack Obama!
America's Founders would roll in their grave to discover that federal government transparency and communication (and our First Amendment rights) have been reduced to whitewashing, cover-ups, overreaching restrictions and selective redacting.
But that's long been the reality in an Obama White House and would absolutely be no different in a Hillary Clinton White House. We only have to turn to her email practices (redactions) to prove that.
Welcome to the United States of China!
(Next week, on Independence Day weekend, I will detail many more ways the Obama-Clinton legacy is turning us into a red-star state in my forthcoming column, "The fight of the century: Communist Manifesto vs. Declaration of Independence.")
