(KEZI-TV 9) — ALBANY, Oregon – A man is in jail after being accused of looking up girls skirts at a Target store in Albany.
Police arrested a man, later identified as 20-year-old Daniel Sappington, a registered sex offender, the day after they received a call from shoppers reporting his “suspicious” activity.
Officers said they were able to use Target’s security footage and get a description of the accused man.
An officer spotted Sappington nearby Helping Hands Thursday night and made the arrest.
Police said there were nearly a dozen victims and they want to send a word of warning to parents.
“If you have small children, it’s always important to keep them in sight at all times and be aware of your surroundings,” said Sergeant Robert Hayes with the Albany Police Department.
