Make Christmas shopping easy – awesome books and movies!

This year you can make Christmas shopping easy, give meaningful gifts that never get regifted or thrown away and stimulate conversation at those family gatherings.

It’s a win-win-win with the gift of meaningful books and movies.

Sure, you’ll all be watching “It’s a Wonderful Life” and “A Christmas Story” together. But everyone has a copy of those and they will be all over TV.

No, we’re talking about GIFTS here:

Let’s start with a brand new book-movie bundle that is so relevant to the spirit of the season. It’s called “God’s Day Timer” – a thoroughly enlightening book and movie that will show you the holidays (or divine appointments) that Jesus really cares about.

For those who really seek a way to get closer to God and obey His commandments, this is the combo for you. You see, God loves to play hide and seek. For those who search for Him with all their hearts, He makes Himself known. “God s Day Timer” provides the biblical keys that unlock hidden treasures just waiting to be discovered. Author, teacher, and pastor Mark Biltz, now with an international following after discovering the “Blood Moons” phenomenon, offers tremendous insight into being in touch with God.

So what are the holidays God really cares about?

In Genesis, the Hebrew word “moed” is translated in Leviticus as feasts. A better translation is “divine appointments.” God tells us that the sun and the moon are to be used to determine when the divine appointments occur, which is critical to understanding when God will intersect human history. In “God’s Day Timer,” Biltz breaks down the divine appointments, or seven feasts of the Lord, to make it easy to understand for beginners and explains how to keep the Sabbath and get on God’s schedule to better understand His timing and the signs of the coming events. Discover the importance of keeping the Passover and Yom Kippur among the other feasts. Learn how to perform a weekly Shabbat. Find out the various steps of administering a Seder dinner Realize why it is vital for Christian believers to be on the biblical calendar.

‘The Rabbi Who Found Messiah’
Next up is another book-movie combo with the provocative title, “The Rabbi Who Found Messiah.”

It may just be the most sensational spiritual story of the 21st century.

In the fall of 2005, a 108-year-old rabbi, the most venerated rabbinical Jewish leader in Israel, proclaimed that he knew the name of the real Messiah. He insisted that he knew where the Messiah was and when He was going to reveal Himself to the world. Rabbi Kaduri claimed that he had personally seen the Messiah in a vision.

But … there were just a couple catches: Kaduri declared that a particular and famed world leader had to die before the Messiah appeared publicly. Also, the name of the Messiah was to be mysteriously sealed in a message. Instructions were given to lock the message away and not to open it until one year after the rabbi’s death. A few months later the famous world leader fell gravely ill. The religious and political world held its collective breath.

Within weeks of the world leader’s malady, the elderly Rabbi Kaduri died. Several hundred thousand people flooded the streets of Jerusalem for his funeral, one of the largest in Israel’s history. The death message was secreted away for one year as the beloved rabbi had instructed.

The message was opened and deciphered. There, before the eyes of the world, was the name of the soon-coming Messiah according to this celebrated “teacher of Israel.”

But it was not the name that most Israelis or Jews wanted to hear. So, the long-awaited sealed message got little attention in his homeland.

Carl Gallups, a former police investigator, went to work to find out the details. The book and the movie are now being used around the world – including Israel – to open hearts to the one and only Messiah, the One whose life is celebrated around the world at Christmas.

Are you part of a prepper family?

If you’re part of a prepper family, here are some great choices for you.

Prepping isn’t just about long-term food storage and water filters – though the WND Superstore has plenty for you in that department.

Being prepared is also being smart – and educated.

Once again, Carl Gallups has risen to the occasion by writing the first prepper book that deals with spiritual preparation as well as material readiness. It’s called “Be Thou Prepared.”

The world is not safe. Terrorist attacks are on the rise and ever-threatening. Natural disasters are happening with increased impact and intensity. Christians are being targeted and persecuted in America. It’s time for the church to step up and be prepared for trials and tribulation to come.

How did the early church deal with disaster and persecution?

What does the Bible say about being prepared for disasters?

Should Christians protect themselves with firearms?

Should we stockpile supplies?

How should we be prepared for the possibility of a coming economic collapse, an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack or a potentially looming World War III?

What are Christians to do in the face of growing persecution?

How can we be effective witnesses in times of distress?

“Be Thou Prepared” warns of the imminent Christian persecution coming to the United States and explains the role of faith in times of trouble. “Be Thou Prepared” deals with spiritual and practical readiness for what’s bound to come – sooner or later. While acknowledging true hope lies in faith and reliance on God in the face of disaster and persecution, “Be Thou Prepared” also makes the biblical case for preparedness for all types of situations – not as an option but as a spiritual imperative.
Full of practical advice on maintaining necessary medical supplies, storing food, arranging for temporary shelters and more, “Be Thou Prepared” equips Christians and Christian leaders to understand the best way they can prepare themselves and their congregations so as not to be caught off guard but to be ready to help those in need when evil comes to their door.

Here’s a brand-new one for the prepper family called “Lights On.” Have you ever wondered what you’ll do about long-term power problems when the grid gets fried?

Jeffrey Yago, a licensed engineer, NABCEP certified solar professional, and a certified energy professional with more than 40 years of professional experience working in the energy and emergency power field, has the answer.

Following the simple plans in “Lights On” will ensure that you are safe and secure during widespread long-term power outages.

You know the U.S. electric grid is at greater risk today than ever before. From aging infrastructure, severe weather, and EPA mandated closure of coal-fired power plants to solar storms, digital sabotage, terrorism, and electromagnetic pulse attacks, future outages are almost certain. And they will likely last far longer and cover much larger areas than anything experienced in the past. When the grid is down and you run out of fuel for your generator, and all the stores are closed, then what?

“Lights On” has the solution. Energy expert Jeffrey Yago lays out the lost history of early residential battery power and delves into just how durable and universal battery-powered devices are. Battery-powered devices can provide lighting, communications, refrigeration, safety, and entertainment when all else fails. Yago covers the multiple ways to keep your batteries recharged and ready to go.

There are many books and magazines on emergency preparedness, survival, solar power, and disaster planning, which show strong public interest in these topics. However, many offer brief introductions to each topic. “Lights On” provides easy-to-understand detailed information on having a plan of action for setting up a battery-powered home in advance of widespread and sustained power outages. This is the only book you need to be prepared to keep your refrigerator running, your lights on, and much more.

You can get this book weeks before its scheduled national release in late November through the WND Superstore.
