The mainstream media establishment and the Democrats were so sure of a strong, landslide Hillary win. So sure, in fact, that they all had their cakes, party poppers and fireworks ready to celebrate. That celebration never came.
On Tuesday night, while the world watched, Donald J. Trump was hands-down elected as the 45th president of the United States. In the early hours of the next day, he made his victory speech at New York’s Midtown Hilton Hotel to a decent crowd of his closest supporters in the presence of running mate Mike Pence and their family and friends. It was history in the making. It was a night to remember.
Throughout the months and years leading up to the U.S. election, the lies, propaganda and bias spread by the mainstream media were just unbelievable. It was unrelenting. At times, it was vitriolic.
This election was a crossroads one, a crucial turning point for the history of America and the world. It was a fight against pure evil and tyranny, a fight for freedom and liberty, a fight for common sense and rationality. It was fight that was fought against a fierce opponent.
Veteran political pundits, analysts and naysayers repeatedly wagered a Trump win would be impossible. My dad always told me “opinions are a dime a dozen.” He’s right. All their predictions were completely off. In fact the result turned them up side down and sent them spinning.
Why should we be surprised?
The mainstream media rigged polls on their websites and fabricated big psyop news stories, op-eds and opinion pieces. They held morning shows and nightly discussions with liberal pundits. They did this all in an attempt to make us all believe that Trump didn’t have a chance in the world to win. They tried to depict him as a demon, as pure evil.
The day before the “big one,” Reuters’ final “analysis” projected a 90 percent chance of Hillary winning the presidency.
One scientist even projected a 99 percent chance of a Hillary win.
Here’s a small sampling of what some figures said:
“Hillary Clinton today is more likely to win in a landslide that would not only have an impact on this race but realign the country politically to some extent, then Trump is to win at all,” said Mark Halperin of Bloomberg politics.
“This could be tight, or it could be a landslide for Hillary,” MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough said.
“If this collapse of support among women … spreads among women voters across the country, he’s going to lose by a landslide, and they could lose the Senate and the House,” GOP speechwriter David Gergen predicted.
They were so sure it’d be a Hillary landslide victory.
But on the 8th of November, 2016, a day that will forever live in the annals of world history, millions of Americans voted for what they truly believed. They voted for their values, they voted for freedom, they voted for liberty, they voted against tyranny and evil.
They defied the liberal establishment and the mainstream media. They proved that the decision comes down to the people, that the people are the ones who rule.
They proved that we do not have to be controlled by what we’re told to believe by the mainstream media.
They proved that the mainstream media narrative does not represent, in any way, the views held by the great majority of people. They proved that the mainstream media really only speak for themselves and their puppet masters.
Trump didn’t just barely scrape through. No, he won hands-down in a watershed victory. He got to that point despite all odds, despite the accusations and allegations levelled against him, despite all the dire predictions and naysaying.
When Trump was holding a 95 percent chance of winning (as per New York Times predictions), late on the evening of that big day, the establishment literally panicked at the unexpected turnaround.
Hillary began to have second thoughts (albeit reserved ones) about her likelihood of winning. In fact those doubting thoughts, those bouts of nervousness probably began a few days earlier when Trump began to pick up steam. In fact, the day before Election Day, for some unknown reason, she cancelled her elaborate election night fireworks celebration that was to be held over New York’s Hudson River.
Americans sent a clear message to the establishment, to Hillary and the Democrats, to the world: “We vote for freedom and values.”
They proved they are not stupid, that they still have reason and common sense existing within themselves.
God had mercy on America, and we have Him to thank for this amazing, historic result. This victory is only the start. To progress on to greater things, to restore the republic, to promote true freedom and justice for all, Americans collectively must be willing to bow the knee before God.
May God, in his will, bless America.
