Most of us aren’t surprised when we see Democrats pushing for socialized medicine, wealth redistribution, globalism, exponentially growing government, etc., but we are very surprised when they are honest about it.
I have to applaud NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio. He is embracing what we all know about Democrats and not attempting to hide it at all.
After an NYPD officer was assassinated in New York City, we expected the mayor to say something somewhat respectful of the police and move on. But, we didn’t expect him to skip the NYPD swearing-in ceremony to join the socialists and anarchists at the G20 summit protests!
I am sure he was advised against doing something that appeared so disrespectful of the fallen NYPD officer and to law enforcement in general, but DeBlasio chose to be intellectually honest and embrace his true anti-police beliefs and join in the anarchy in Germany.
Personally, I find it refreshing.
Usually, we have to wait for the occasional WikiLeaks release of hacked emails from DNC and Democratic campaigns to see what Democrats really believe.
Mayor DeBlasio showed us exactly who he was as he ditched the NYPD immediately after an officer was gunned down in cold blood and joined his socialist comrades in Germany to protest our president.

This is more than just an opportunity for the right to see this zebra’s stripes; this is an incredible opportunity for Democrats to prove to American voters that Mayor DeBlasio is not the mainstream of their party.
I find myself giving Democrats a lot of advice these days, but I don’t think we are in any danger of them listening.
If Democrats have any hope of recovering from their steep and steady decline over the past several years, they should start by mounting a primary challenge in New York City against Mayor DeBlasio.
If Democrats would begin the process of cleaning their own house and ridding themselves of the anti-police socialist scum like DeBlasio, they can begin a national comeback.
At this point, Democrats stand to lose more seats in the 2018 midterms and beyond. Their only hope is to signal to Middle America that they are not anti-law enforcement and pro-socialist, but don’t hold your breath for that.
