Dear Mr. Farah:
I appreciate your column about Jimmy Carter, and I am not surprised he said “Jesus was a failure” (as Pope Francis did also). He also has said that Jesus would approve of gay marriage.
No person has said more false and evil things about Bible-believing Christians than Jimmy Carter. No unbeliever or atheist has said worse things. More than once on C-Span, in his books and in press interviews, he has said “fundamentalist Christians are dangerous,” like fundamentalist Muslims, and that they try to force their beliefs on other people and can even be violent. He says this with NO EVIDENCE whatsoever of even ONE incident of such behavior on their part!
He is a vicious enemy of the true church and an even worse enemy of Israel as he actively promotes the Palestinian cause. I consider him to be a very evil man hiding behind a “cloak of charity” of Habitat for Humanity and the Carter Foundation, grinning with his twisted, crooked smile.
But he shall soon stand before Jesus Himself, who may wipe that twisted smile off his face:
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
