(TENNESSEAN) — Emanuel K. Samson, the suspect in a deadly mass shooting at an Antioch church, “made some comments about visions and voices” during an interview with police after the shooting, according to testimony in court Monday.

Metro police detective Steve Jolley said Samson mentioned the visions, including a vision of Burnette Chapel Church of Christ. Jolley said Samson also admitted to opening fire outside the church on Sept. 24.

Jolley testified as part of Samson’s preliminary hearing. At the end of the hearing, Judge Allegra Walker ruled there was enough evidence to send the case to the grand jury.
