Something bizarre appears to be happening with Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who apparently suffered 16 brain freezes during a 15-minute appearance at her weekly press conference Thursday.

Pelosi, 77, repeatedly stumbled and appeared to be at a loss for words.

At some moments, the House minority leader – who would be a front-runner for the House speaker position if Democrats take control of it in November – could be seen staring blankly as she tried to collect her thoughts.

“This week we had … March 5th … marked the sixth month – the end of the … timeframe,” Pelosi babbled while trying to discuss the recent expiration of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals.

When Pelosi was asked about troubles within the Democratic Party, she replied, “The most exhilarating …” But that’s when she lost her words again.

Pelosi experienced another episode when she responded to a question concerning a Senate bill to reform the Dodd-Frank Act: “You might say, how do we help communities, banks, um, how do we help, um …”

Grabien posted the following C-SPAN montage of Pelosi’s slip-ups Thursday:

On more than six occasions, Pelosi has confused President Trump with former President George W. Bush. One of the most recent cases happened in February, when she told reporters: “This is a cover-up by the Republicans to protect President Bush – excuse me – President Trump in this investigation.”

Just weeks ago, Pelosi proposed what she believed to be a better solution than President Trump’s wall to stop the influx of illegal immigrants across the U.S.-Mexico border: “Mowing the grass.”

“I’m not the wall’s biggest advocate in Congress,” Pelosi told the Arizona Republic. “But I do know that representatives in the House and Senators in that body from the border areas have some serious objections to a wall because they know how detrimental it can be to the community trade, to all other aspects of a border.

“But again, let’s sit down and talk this though about what makes sense, not some commitment to a promise that we’re going to build a wall and Mexico is going to pay for it. That’s never going to happen,” she continued.

“Let’s talk about where a more serious structure might be necessary, where fencing will do or mowing the grass so that people can’t be smuggled through the grass. That’s something – levies, technology, personnel …”

In October, WND reported Rep. Pelosi experienced other episodes during which she couldn’t finish a sentence.

As she addressed the Las Vegas massacre and pushed gun control, Pelosi became lost for words.

“Responsible gun owners from the hills of Arizona to the duck blinds of Minnesota, all over, say, ‘We’re all law-abiding, we have many guns, we have as many guns as he had, but we have,’ uh, we have, um, uh,” she said before turning to CNN town hall moderator Chris Cuomo and repeatedly waving her hands.

“Background checks,” she finally exclaimed.
