When bigoted Stephanie Wilkinson asked Trump Press Secretary Sarah Sanders to leave her restaurant Friday it touched off a media feeding frenzy and, predictably, caused some political crazies to leave their filthy, hate-filled nests.
The most notable was Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., who went where no elected representative should ever be allowed to go.
On Saturday, at a rally in Los Angeles and Sunday on MSNBC, Waters called on her supporters to confront and harass members of the Trump administration wherever they go over his policy of vigorously enforcing our immigration laws.
"Let's make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere!"
Waters was trying to hype the policy of separating children from their parents who are taken into custody for trying to break into our country. Politicians like Waters know this is nothing new, but she never mentioned her concern during the administrations of Clinton or Obama. No, not a word! If you listen to her statements, you would think that Trump invented it. You also will hear that Trump is a racist, sexists and homophobe.

That is a page right out of the radical left's Marxist playbook: Tell a lie. Make it big. Repeat it often. Call anyone with whom you disagree names. Accuse them of harming children, breaking the law, ruling like a dictator.
Clearly, Waters, an unabashed apologist for former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro and Haiti's democratically elected president turned brutal dictator (now deposed) Jean-Bertrand Aristide, hates Trump. She has made that perfectly clear, calling for his impeachment soon after the election. However, this latest tirade crossed the line of civility and may border on illegality (inciting a riot). Nevertheless, it is what her political supporters expect and her colleagues in the House of Representatives have tolerated for far too long. It was as predictable as it was reprehensible!
However, the thing that has saddened me most recently are baseless or outright false political Facebook posts from otherwise reasonable people who should know better.
For the uninitiated, unflattering political posts targeting Democrats can land you in Facebook jail, but there seems to be no limit on slanderous posts directed at Republicans.
Personally, I think political posts on Facebook are verboten. Most use it as a way to keep up with family members and friends. Nevertheless there are those who go where others fear to tread.
I offer as exhibit No. 1 a post that reads: "Fact: If you still support Trump, you would have supported Hitler."
The day before, this person posted a quote from leftist political activist Rob Reiner who has compared Trump (biggest supporter of Israel of any recent president) to the Nazi police at Auschwitz. It reads: "This November Donald Trump is not on the ballot but inhumanity is. So are racism, incompetence, corruption ..."
This friend is entitled to her political views, but she reposts anything she can find to support her theory that Trump is all of the above such as a picture of a despicable billboard from a lunatic running for Congress in Tennessee that says, "Make America White Again." Her caption, "This is Trump's America. I can't wrap my head around how racist this has become, not to mention how appalled I am by the people I know who support it." Where are these people?
She failed to mention this guy is running as an independent, has been denounced by the GOP and has no relationship whatsoever to Donald Trump.
She also reposted a statement that said Republicans just voted to take away food stamps from 1.5 million veterans, an assertion that has been completely fact-checked and debunked.
In this day and age where it is possible to research anything on the internet, this is inexcusable!
A number of her posts denounce Fox News as "fiction."
Unfortunately, many people have trouble separating news shows from opinion shows like "The View." News shows report only truth. If something is reported in error, it is corrected. However, news producers often slant their coverage simply by what they leave out, failing to tell the "whole truth," as was the case with the children of illegal border crossers.
A wise viewer will watch Fox News (conservative slant) "Special Report" followed by a news show on one of the original three networks (liberal slant). It's often like these networks are on different planets. Anyone with an open mind will soon known the truth.
