The editor of a Hezbollah-supporting Lebanese daily says Western interests in the Middle East should be attacked since the U.S. and Iran already are at war, reports Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
Ibrahim Al-Amin, editor of the Al-Akhbar, wrote of the concerns about a direct military confrontation between the U.S. and Iran.
Tensions between the two nations have grown since President Trump withdrew the U.S. from a multi-nation nuclear agreement with Iran that the mullah regime used to gain access to billions of dollars in cash.
The deal was supposed to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power. But Tehran breached the deal prior to the U.S. pullout and vows to exceed the uranium enrichment limit by June 27.
Since the withdrawal, the U.S. has enforced economic sanctions on Iran, and the rogue Islamic regime responded June 20 by shooting down an American drone in international airspace.
President Trump prepared a military response but declined to pull the trigger because he was told up to 150 people might be killed.
the Middle East Media Research Institute said Al-Amin claimed in a June 14, 2019, article that what is currently happening between the two countries is already "a war in every sense of the word."
He stressed that the recent attacks on Western interests in the region were only an "initial response," and urged Iran to "consider destroying all Western interests in Lebanon and the region."
