The advice from White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs in the case of a Duke University official accused of offering his adopted 5-year-old son for sex? "Prosecute." The question was raised by Les Kinsolving, WND's correspondent at the White House, today immediately after a very short news briefing when only a handful of the dozens of reporters in attendance were able to ask questions. In a one-minute encounter after the briefing, Kinsolving was able to ask Gibbs, "Why has there been no presidential comment on the AP-reported Frank Lombard case?" Gibbs responded: "What is the Frank Lombard case?" Explained Kinsolving, "WND and (Rush) Limbaugh also reported that Lombard, who is Duke University's associate director of the Center for Health Policy, has been arrested after an Internet sting found him allegedly offering his five-year-old adopted black son for sex." "He should surely be prosecuted," Gibbs said. (Story continues below) Kinsolving then expressed gratitude for the opinion that not all sexual lifestyles are good, despite President Obama's recent affirmation to a coalition of those who have chosen alternative sexual lifestyles at the White House that, "We seek an America in which no one feels the pain of discrimination based on who you are or who you love." WND reported earlier that news coverage of the case so far largely has ignored the fact the suspect is a homosexual who lives with another "gay" man. Don't
believe today's deceptive media. See what God REALLY says about sex and
homosexuality in "Shocked by the Bible: The Most Astonishing Facts
You've Never Been Told" -- personally autographed! An online comment in reaction to the ABC News story cited media
hypocrisy with the high-profile case of Duke lacrosse players who were
wrongly accused of a rape that never happened: Radio host Rush Limbaugh commented on the apparent double standard, stating, "Did you hear there has been an actual rape at Duke University? An actual rape in Durham, North Carolina. It's not a phony one. Not a false charge. An actual rape. A guy sold his adopted 5-year-old son to a sex practitioner. A 5-year-old kid, yeah. There's a problem with this, too, because the guy is gay, a gay adoption. "This is why you haven't heard about it. This does not fit the template. A false charge of rape at Duke when you had the poor, black, down-on-her-luck dancer and the rich, white, lacrosse players, oh, that fit the template. They were guilty before any evidence. This you haven't heard about because this doesn't fit the template here of what we're trying to accomplish." Lombard faces a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted.
