When Barack Obama tells Hispanics to "punish our enemies," whom is he talking about?
Have you thought about that?
In a radio interview on the Spanish-language Univision network Monday, Obama made this remarkable statement: "If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, 'We're going to punish our enemies and we're gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,' if they don't see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it's going to be harder, and that's why I think it's so important that people focus on voting on November 2."
I'd like you to think about whether you have ever before heard a president of the United States describe Americans as enemies.
Notice he didn't use the term "political adversaries" or even "political enemies." He just used the unqualified term "enemies."
So whom was he talking about?
I suspect you know.
He was talking about you and me.
The ultimate expose on the radical nature of our 44th president: "The Manchurian President: Barack Obama's Ties to Communists, Socialists and Other Anti-American Extremists." The best-seller as an audio book is also available.
He was talking about Americans who want to see immigration laws enforced.
He was talking about Americans who want to see their borders secured.
He was talking about Americans plagued by crime, drunk drivers, rapists, murderers, robbers and terrorists who use the unsecured border as a means to wreak havoc on law-abiding citizens.
And he was talking about the vast majority of Americans – not just a small group.
That's who Obama is at war with – not the Taliban, not al-Qaida, not those who would kill and maim, not those who would overthrow our way of life. He's at war with you and me and those who intend to punish his party Nov. 2 for its patently anti-American policies over the last two years.
When I have told you Obama hates America and seeks to radically alter it, even destroy it to achieve his objectives, this is what I mean.
His policies are not designed to make life better in America.
His policies are designed to make life more miserable.
He's not incompetent. He is actually achieving his goals.
This statement is proof.
"We're going to punish our enemies."
Think about that.
Let that statement sink in.
This is a huge admission made by Obama when he thought only his "friends" were listening.
It was tailored for a specific audience – not you and me and the vast majority of Americans who want to keep their nation free and secure.
Of course, it's racist to the core.
This action by Obama was specifically directed at Hispanics. Who are their enemies in America? Presumably anyone who wants to see our immigration laws enforced. It's racist just to assume that all Hispanic-Americans want to see open borders. It's certainly not true.
But, as you prepare to go to the polls next Tuesday, I want you to internalize this statement from Obama.
"We're going to punish our enemies."
Maybe we ought to turn the tables on Obama.
Maybe that should be motivation for his enemies to turn out in record numbers.
Maybe the hard-working, law-abiding citizens of the country Obama hates will finally have the motivation and clarity they need to punish him and his party of anti-American zealots hell-bent on destroying the foundations of the greatest experiment in liberty the world has ever known.
Maybe we should adopt Obama's advice.
Maybe we should think about the Nov. 2 election as an opportunity to punish our enemies.
I can only conclude from Obama's characterization of us that this is a fight for everything real Americans hold dear.
That's what's at stake next week.
Yes, indeed, it's time to punish our enemies.
