No Joseph, you have not “flipped your lid.” In fact, it is WND’s inclusion of faith-related stories and the Christian worldview of your writers that makes your site second to none. Dear Mr. Farah;
You ask a question at the end of your column: Is the 911 National Day of Prayer and Fasting political?
Only in the vivid, warped and distorted imaginations of people with their own political agenda.

What about the oath?
I would like to know from Gen. Boykin, whom I served with in Delta Force, when the constitutional rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion were taken from our soldiers, especially when all soldiers, regardless of rank, are required to take an oath to up hold the Constitution ["Open hostility to Christians in U.S. military"]. That applies to the commander in chief, whom I believe should be impeached simply for willful violation of the Constitution.

Ditching Christian ignorance
I agree with Matt Barber ["NBA's Jason Collins: 'Gay' superhero!"]. Being gay is not a big deal; it is a normal part of human existence and deserves no special praise. Christians who believe the silly parts of the Bible, like the umpteen abominations for everything from pride, to shellfish eating, to mixing fabrics, to sex during menstruation, will finally grow up like Matt and recognize it is no more scary than being left-handed or using a mirror (both sins a few hundred years ago due to Christian ignorance). My FDR Bible
I still have the New Testament that was issued to me upon entering the U.S. Army 69 years ago. I never dreamed I would see such an anti-American, anti-Christian government as we now see.
On the first page inside the New Testament was a message from FDR. The message is:

To check federal power-lust, the founders crafted the U.S. Senate as the representative body of the states. Senators were originally elected by state legislatures, not by popular vote as mandated by the 17th amendment, ratified in 1913.
