Leftists identify with Islamist throwbacks because they have much in common ["Progressives' curious love for Islam"]. They’re both fanatical utopians. They’re both committed to crushing opposition by any means necessary. Neither has a plan of living that protects individual sovereignty and natural liberty or could work without dominant authoritarian force. “Islam,” the word, means submission. It doesn’t matter to a leftist or a progressive that many Islamists are misogynists and homophobes, and condone terrorism in the name of Allah. ... continue reading »
Martin Luther King’s famous dream speech called for a color-blind society, one in which one’s character, not skin color, would be the basis for judging any individual.
Many decades later, America has elected an African-American president who has installed an African-American attorney general as the chief enforcer of the law.
So, how are these African-American leaders doing with regard to Martin Luther King’s demand for color blind justice?
Two recent issues are illustrative, but not particularly reassuring to those who share Dr. King’s views.
For example: The funeral of Army Maj. Gen. Har ... continue reading »
This week’s offering by Matt Barber is right on, as far as how the world will be just before Jesus comes back. Everything is turned around to the opposite of what it should be. Black is white, and wrong is right.
His quote from C.S. Lewis is right on, as confirmed in John 3:18. God does not send anyone to hell; they choose that on their own by refusing to accept God as creator, Jesus as savior and the only way to God the Father and eternal life. It is so sad that so few will see it.
If in the future America sees another catastrophe perpetrated by terrorists and commentators in the media start asking how could this happen, think back to what I’m about to say.
America has a failed foreign policy! I don’t believe for a minute that Iran has stopped working on a nuclear weapons program. Iran supports Hamas and ISIS, ISIL and/or the Islamic State. Iran has given weapons and financial support to both of these groups, although currently ISIS is the richest terrorist group on the planet, making millions from oil fields it controls. ISIS said it plans to attack New York and plant its flag atop the White House ... continue reading »
I can no longer in good conscience, as a humanitarian and as a Christian, continue to follow your website if in the spirit of journalism you endorse the carnage in Gaza.
I was so disgusted by the self-righteous endorsement of killing, espousing how God is blessing the brutal killing. And based on the comments, you have attracted people who worship killing in the name of their Israeli God.
My spirit died a bit today. I mourned the lack of compassion and the lack of intelligence. Hamas is an Israeli operation, constructed to support the narrative of evil’s thirst to kill. The people of Gaza are murdered daily by whom? Hol ... continue reading »
I am truly grateful whenever I hear you commentary on such issues ["The howl of the mob: Race-based justice"]. I have always felt that my views were isolated and unrepresented as a part of the media at large. Your voice is a refreshing reminder to me that I am not alone and that a vast majority of conservative people are thoughtful, caring and unbiased by race, religion, sex and what-have-you.
Whatever the outcome of the current situation in Ferguson, truth cannot be separate from justice without changing its definition.
