Great column. It sets me off when people glibly say, “God is in control. I’m trusting Him.”
I often use the example of David killing Goliath. Yes, David was trusting God. But he also took action. He even picked up extra ammo (five stones) but only needed one.
I like Ted Cruz, and I am extremely proud to call him my senator, as I am a Texas resident.
However, the narrative set by WND is that the eligibility (of you know who) issue was not about the birth certificate. It was about what the Constitution says about who is considered to be a “natural-born citizen.” I embrace the opinion that a natural-born citizen is an individual whose parents were both U.S. citizens at the time of his or her birth, and Sen. Cruz simply does not meet that definition. The best thing that Sen. Cruz can do for his country is to publicly acknowledge that on television.

With the disastrous roll-out of the Obamacare website and the sticker shock associated with it, the economic consequences can be easily anticipated. While the administration would like to blame Bush, the spin machine in the White House is already prepared to pin the blame on the government shutdown. Undoubtedly, the liberal media are ready to parrot the White House talking points, but Obamacare’s economic consequences easily dwarf that of the government shutdown. You don’t have Bush to kick around anymore.
It was not the progressives who started the war on the free press. Our freedom started and ended with the church.

What are the chances that a class action lawsuit can be arranged by those Americans that have had their insurance policies canceled due to Obamacare – and would it be possible to incorporate elements of false-advertising laws as part of the lawsuit? The false advertising that has accompanied the rollout of Obamacare was done so on purpose, thus deceiving the American public and fleecing them of their insurance policies that they were told they could keep.
