Hi, Mr. Farah.
So I read in the Los Angeles Times this morning that a PETA spokesperson wants to raise a memorial sign for 1,600 pounds of bass that died on the back of a truck because the semi-truck got into an accident and the tank cracked. The PETA spokesperson said: “Although such signs are traditionally reserved for human fatalities, I hope you’ll make an exception because of the enormous suffering involved in this case, in order to remind drivers that all animals – whether they’re humans, basset hounds, or bass – value their lives ... continue reading »
“Benghazi” Obama views the Constitution as written on a blackboard and has decided his mission is to erase it. Obama just signed his 141st executive order, again expanding unconstitutional executive power in the quest of building and codifying a Big Brother police state while Congress and America sleep.
Under the bogus pretext of homeland security, Obama’s latest executive order fuses the federal government into “partnerships” with the private sector, foundations, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), community organizations and other “stakeholders.” It’s just fascism with another name ... continue reading »
Please take this as constructive criticism/observation. It offends me when I see stories about God taking vengeance on us for one reason or another via the weather. Hurricane Sandy is a not-so-uncommon weather event. They are predictable, generally, seasonally and terrestrially, based on sciences dealing with fluids on a rotating sphere. We are lucky our planet is not twice as massive as it is. This places limits on forces in the atmosphere. By our population growth, our construction/location habits and our own ignorance, we get in the way of weather, not the other way around.
Climate catastrophists are always looking at humans for ... continue reading »
In an email to the editor this week, Maria Aguigui asked: “Where will this end? Hate breeds hate. There is no excusing bigoted behavior. If you hate someone, do not demonize them and try bringing them down to your level of hate. Step away and do them no harm.
“Don’t try to diminish others and do it in church in the name of your faith. When you diminish others, you yourself are diminished. There is no alternative, nor excuse.”
She was talking about conservative Christians and did nothing but demonize them and say they were all racists during her entire diatribe ... continue reading »
Isn’t it a little odd that Obama jumped into Libya to help overthrow Moammar Gadhafi to prevent a Muslim massacre (Obama’s words), yet he wasn’t willing to lift a finger to protect our ambassador and three other Americans in Benghazi from being massacred?
Remember how Obama chided Mitt Romney during the last presidential debate about not knowing enough about our military? Yet it appears that Obama didn’t know enough to provide proper military protection for our embassy personnel in Libya – and when they were under attack for hours, he apparently didn’t know how to, or chose not to, defend them.... continue reading »
I read Kirk Cameron’s column “America digging its own grave,” and I would like to say that he is indeed entitled to his own opinion. However, I have found conservative Christians, especially those living in virtually minorityfree communities, to be opinionated and quite isolated to what is going on in the world and in or country.
There are many African-Americans who bury their beloved dogs of many years, and many are not comfortable with the gay issue – but overall, by being the recipients of prejudice and racism, they are less likely to act the same way towar ... continue reading »
